Transportation in the beverage production area
The modern manner of production, packing and charging beverages requires the application of high technology in production as well as in charging and suitable packing of different sorts of drinks.
This diversity in the beverage area is seen through the usage of different machines which are necessary for handling technological processes in production.
In order for the process to be complete, certain transports are necessary for connecting this machines during a process.
By its usage the conveyors’ belts for bottle transporting are divided into:
The air conveyors are used for transporting empty bottles from the blowing machine to the machine for rinsing, charging and sealing – monoblock. Sterile air is used for transport and it is injected into the nozzle by fans and in that way they push the bottles through tracks.
Chain conveyors mostly serve for transporting full bottles from the monoblock, through the labeling machine, to the thermal packing machine or the packager. They can be plastic or made of metal (prochrome) depending on the fact if the package is PET or glass.
Belt elevator conveyors serve for seal-feeding which is used for closing the bottles.
Roller conveyors serve for transporting packages from the thermal packing machine to the packager and palletizers.
